Shalom, Dear Friend!
The first days of October was Sukkoth. It is last of Fall Holidays, described on
Leviticus 23. Israelites believe that this Holiday of hope – the prophecy about
Israel restoration and we know that happen, when Messiah Jesus will come back
to Jewish people.
On Leviticus 23:40 we read: “On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the
trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice before the Lord
your God for seven days.” In Jerusalem on Sukkoth you would see a lot of
believers in Jesus from different countries, who come to rejoice with a green
branches and witness that God would not forget His promises!
We rejoice, thinking about the future with our Lord, but the same time praising
the Lord, that the time for salvation is not finished. I am rejoicing to see how new
believers are growing in the faith.
Special attention and prayers of course need both: guys, who are in drug
dependency and there family. We have special prayer groups, Bible studies,
Fellowship service together and counseling support sessions. The work with drug
dependents and the families are not easy and very often stressful, especially when some
of the guys would fall back. Nevertheless, even more of God’s love you could see on
them, when they would come back with repentance and strong will to follow the Lord’s
pass.
Several young people already started classes to get HS diploma, even the study is very
hard for them, so please pray for that. The other guy soon will attend the profession
school. All that certainly brings the fruits for the Lord’s Kingdom and we rejoicing
together. Please continue to pray for the in-door rehab to be started as soon as
possible.
I am thankful to the Lord, as this year I could do ministry in Israel one more time.
I joyfully report to you about Second Worldly Messianic Conference in Jerusalem — one
more Historical event in Russian Messianic movement on October 25 – November 1:
blessed time to see each other, share the thoughts and experience for the leaders from
different countries and parts of the planet. Additional blessing is for me to stay after the
conference in Israel for ministry one more time. Please pray for people, with whom I will
meet.
