Cultivating Women of Faith

The study of God’s Word is a vital element to the growth of every Christian. That’s why our Women’s Ministries focuses upon opportunities during the week to study, talk, learn and grow together in the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word. By sharing insights into God’s Word and joining each other in prayer, a sweet fellowship is created. Join a Bible study today and see what the Lord has in store for you!
MONDAY NIGHTS AT 6:30
in the Downstairs Couch Room: We kick off our study time with dinner at 6:30 followed by an option of two different studies. Join Karen Mercaldo as she teaches on the book of II Timothy. . . OR join Lynn Arters in her living room at the parsonage as she takes a group of women through the Design for Discipleship book series. This Bible Basics Study is perfect for those just starting out in their faith walks.
TUESDAY MORNINGS 10am – 12am
in the Downstairs Lower Level: Ruth Rise is also teaching from the book of II Timothy while Audra Cava leads the Bible Basics Class (the Design for Discipleship Series) in the couch room.
Women of all ages are involved in both of these studies and the atmosphere is informal and prime for asking questions. Come check it out!

ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENTS:

The Women’s Christmas Tea:
This wonderful event is held annually on the first weekend of December. Richly filled with humor, moving reminders of the spirit of Christmas and an inspirational speaker that will keep you thinking for weeks, this is a don’t-miss occasion. Tickets usually go on sale in October.
Women’s Year-End Brunch:
At this brunch held in May, we have an opportunity as a community to see how God has been working in the lives of our ladies through our various studies and events. Games and laughter are always generously interspersed.
Women’s Fall Kick-Off Dessert:
The best way to start off a new year of studies and growth is with . . . CHOCOLATE! (or whatever your dessert preference is). At this event we get to see what our different studies will be looking at in the coming year. And what meeting would be complete without more games and laughter?
